"The Tracery of Trees" NOW AVAILABLE!

As I announced back in September 2015, my poem "I Am Who I Am" has been published in a book called "The Tracery of Trees" which is a hardcover book available exclusively from The Poetry Institute of Canada.

"The Tracery of Trees" was supposed to be released last month sometime in mid to late January. But there was a slight delay. The book is now out, and it has been worth the wait. This book is an amazing collection of poetry composed of poems by writers from all across Canada. This book is full of incredible work and shows just how talented Canadians are!

"The Tracery of Trees" is now available exclusively from The Poetry Institute of Canada, and can be ordered here: http://www.poetryinstituteofcanada.ca/currentonlineorders, or you can buy your copy by mail.

Happy Family Day!

Last year in February 2016 I posted some anti-racist themed poems in celebration of Black History Month.  The poems were titled: "Who We Are: We are One" (V1 & V2), and "I Am Who I Am"
I also posted the story behind "I Am Who I Am".

I received a lot of positive feedback on these pieces of poetry, and I am glad that everyone enjoyed them so much! This year I have another different poem with the same kind of theme. I am proud to share it with everyone and I hope you will enjoy it!

New Poem Coming Soon!

February 2016

Well, it's February again; and once again the shortest month is also one of the busiest. Even though we are in a leap year which gives us an extra day this month, it's still the shortest and still quite busy.

As I promised last year there will be an anti-racist themed poem for Black History Month coming. It will be posted a little later on this month. We also have our Family Day holiday, I might also be posting a poem for that too.

So keep an eye out, lots of good stuff coming soon!
