A True Family

"Family Day" is a holiday to celebrate family,
But what is family? It's caring and loving each other equally.
A day to celebrate with the ones we love most,
And remember those both living and ghost.
We spend the day with the ones that care,
And together we think of those who can't be there.
Family are people who're always there when we need them most,
Today it is to them whom we shall toast.
You see, friends too are our family,
Mankind is a brotherhood, and we should appreciate them gladly.
We recollect old memories and the moments we shared,
And reminisce about the people that always cared.
Family can extend and grow beyond a tree,
Family is forever, and that's how it always should be.
