"Halloween Night" poem

Happy Halloween everyone!

Halloween Night
By: Vickram Bachan

On this night the witches fly,
The spirits of dead ones rise and cry.

Pumpkins are carved and placed outside,
While children in costumes run and hide.

We say "trick or treat",
Expecting something sweet to eat.

As the ghosts roam spooking everyone,
Kids run around having lots of fun.

Houses look haunted with countless decorations,
As witches stir cauldrons concocting potions.

Vampires change themselves into bats,
As everyone avoids those tabby black cats.

Monsters come out from under the bed and the closets,
Synonymous with mummies as they leave their caskets.

Vampires and Werewolves bring us all fright,
Have a Happy Halloween, if you dare come out at night.
